Hmmm Ted Strickland has decided to use the Governor's small ceremonial office in the statehouse instead of the large 30th floor of the Riffe Tower
for the symbolic reason of being more accessible to the people but for the practical reason of being more engaged with legislators and the happenings at the Statehouse
Or is it because it is more stunning and regal. This type of hubris is divergent from the typical pragmatism of past ohio governors...this office is not designed to be a working office, some of the furnishings include a desk used by Abraham Lincoln. Hopefully Ted doesn't spill is coffee on it.
